Tidepool Habitat Mural at HTeNC
As we gathered information about the tidepool habitat, we added features to our wall that animals need to survive (water, food, and shelter/rocks). Students added animals (predators and prey) to the wall as we learned about them. Kindergarteners also drafted their own animals using colored pencil and peer critique to create their best scientific drawings for the wall. To learn more about the process, visit our "In the Classroom" page.
