Who are we? We are HTeNC. Learning at High Tech Elementary North County is rooted in project-based learning. This means that our faculty guides our students through the creation of projects designed to develop their understanding of the world around them. Students have a voice, make choices about their learning, and experience the world through authentic project work. We have a unique opportunity to make a difference by increasing awareness of the tidepool habitat in greater San Diego area, and teach others how to treasure this special environment.
HTeNC focuses instruction on deeper learning competencies. Students are supported in acquiring core academic content, encouraged to think critically and solve complex problems, work collaboratively with experts and other students, communicate effectively to a specific audience, monitor their own learning process, and develop academic mindsets.
